1. What is a word?
A word is a group of letters or sounds that has a meaning. We use words to communicate with other people.
Example: book • water • house • work • friend
2. Start with words you already see
Look around you. You already meet English words every day. Connect each word with something you understand.
- water — something we drink
- door — something we open and close
- phone — something we use to communicate
- bank — a place where people use financial services
3. Practice
Choose five objects around you. Write their names in English and read each word aloud slowly. Mistakes are part of learning.
Remember: You do not need to learn everything in one day. One small step today is still progress.
4. What to do next
Watch the corresponding YouTube lesson, read these notes again, and practise the words in your daily life.
